For You Are With Me (Psalm 23)

Group Guides | Sharing the gospel, sharing our lives (1 Thessalonians 2:8)

By way of introduction: What are the indications we see in society which show that people need a shepherd?

Read Psalm 23

1)      Discuss what you think are our/your biggest areas of lack in life?

2)     What would it functionally look like to have the Lord as “my” shepherd, in each stanza, with real examples:

a)     Verses 1 – 3

b)     Verse 4

c)     Verses 5 – 6

3)     How does Christ fulfill Psalm 23, for us?

4)     Psalm 23 speaks to some very real fears we have, how does this psalm do that by being real rather than being just sentimental?

5)     If we were to serve others by speaking with them through Psalm 23, how could we do that with:

a)     A child of Reforming

b)     A fellow member of Reforming

c)     Someone not yet a Christian

Pray for one another.
