By way of introduction: What are some famous teams you have seen, and what made them a great team?

Read Philippians 1:1-11

  1. Paul is thankful to God that the Philippians church have been partners in the gospel with him. Discuss what you think it means to be ‘partners in the gospel’.

  2. How do we become partners in the gospel? What is it that binds us together (verse 7)?

  3. As you look into this passage, what are the feelings/emotions that come out of partnering with people in the gospel? Why do you think this happens?

  4. As we reflect upon Reforming Church, what does it look like to be partners in the gospel?

  5. What things hinder us from becoming joyful partners in the gospel, do you think?

  6. How might Paul’s prayer, from Philippians 1:9-11, help us pray with focus on Christ’s priorities for His church?

Pray for our church family and friends, as we join in with Jesus and His church
