Our Prayers

That each Lord’s Day we would meet Jesus in the Bible and be really changed by His Spirit working in us and through us.

Pray for our evangelism as a church. James writes, the Lord says, that ‘the prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working’ (James 5:16). So, let’s pray for the power of the gospel to save everyone through people faith in Christ (Romans 1:16-17).

Pray for all the Playgroup families.

For the Lord to add to our number those who are being saved and gathered from every generation, for healthy intergenerational discipleship.

Ask God for more Kids Church teachers and leaders.

For God to provide for the poor and needy, sick and suffering – through us His church.

For Christ to care and provide for those struggling in their mental health.

We pray for healing, care and comfort for those suffering from cancer in our congregation – and so we pray for Bronwen McCoy and Rachel McRohan.

Also pray for those dear ones connected to our congregation, particularly Anthony Talliopoulos (Reforming Member Anthea Lourey’s brother) as he been diagnosed with leukaemia. Pray for him as they undertake a bone marrow biopsy and starts chemo. Anthony is recently engaged, so please pray for his fiancee too.

We pray for our spiritual lives, and that you would heal the spiritual sickness that leads to eternal death – that you would save sinners in our society.

We pray for the leaders of Reforming Church, that they would continue to lead with love. We pray for the ministry of Members, that you would strengthen them in their inner being for the ministry of one-anothering.

We ask that we would grow in being a healthy church, more like Christ.
