Conflict is a Gospel Opportunity

Everyone has conflict in their life at some point. It’s in our families, our friendships, our marriages, our church.

Many of us, me included, when just living on our default settings will see conflict as something to fight till I’m seen as right, or flee to avoid conflict. And if we are grown-ups, we have realised that in the end neither are really long term solutions.

But the gospel shows us something unique and wonderful in the world. Not only does the gospel saves us so that our names are in the book of life, the gospel also is an opportunity to see conflict as a way to experience the love of Christ in our lives in a very real way.

This Sunday come and see Jesus change everything, including conflict. We can read ahead from Philippians 4:1-3, pray and ask the Lord to do what only He can do.

With love,
Russ
