Quotes from Church Camp ‘25
It would be difficult to describe in a few words just how encouraging Church Camp was this year. To paint the picture of the experience of encouragement you would need to see the background of discouragement. For this was a camp where the Convener had sick kids and so couldn’t make it herself, where other families couldn’t make it because of sickness - and so there was some sadness going into camp.
Yet, God in his kindness and care for all of us did marvellous things among us.
The team of leaders shared the load and lifted in so many areas of camp life.
The site itself, our most cheapest yet, had so many good things that we enjoyed.
The teaching from Pete Orr was providentially needed for our hearts as a church - so true to Scripture and so timely for us.
It would be difficult to describe in a few words just how encouraging this all was - and so how about I leave my words there and let’s hear a few other words from people who came to Camp for the evening, day or whole weekend. Let’s hear quotes from Church Camp ‘25.

Such a great church camp, really fantastic ~ new person to Reforming and first timer at Reforming Camp
It was a nice location for a camping ground and lovely to meet everyone. Thankyou for the showbag. ~ new person to Reforming and first timer at Reforming Camp
I think camp was great, more of a 'camping' camp (which I'm a fan of) and the meals worked well… Pete's talks were great and lots of encouraging feedback. Also nicer to be only 1.5hrs away. Even warm enough for a swim in the river. ~ a Reforming Elder
I liked being up at camp very much- Peter spoke so well and encouragingly. There was a quiet and very warm atmosphere. Kids were having a ball! Food……. Delicious! ~ a Reforming Member
Yeah camp was fantastic, and Pete’s talks really excellent. I didn’t think the location would be so well liked, but everyone I talked with so far has loved it. ~ Reforming’s Pastor
