Group Guides | Sharing the gospel, sharing our lives

So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us. (1 Thessalonians 2:8)

Our Group Guides are just that, a guide to help us be equipped & encouraged by God’s gospel word.

By way of introduction: What do you think people are looking for in a leader?

Read John 6:1-40

  1. What do you see are all the reasons this crowd is following Jesus in this episode?

  2. As we read the discussion between Jesus and this crowd of people (for example, verses 28-31), what things do you notice about human hearts?

  3. As Jesus responds to their questions, and speaks to our needs, how does he do this?

  4. As we love one another, and love the lost, what are the kinds of needs:

    • Our church family often have

    • Our community of neighbours often have

  5. How does Jesus meet our church and community needs as “the bread of life”?

Pray for one another, our church family, and our friends who need Jesus to meet their need.
